Tianjin. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is addressing the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus Summit today.

The summit, which began at the Meijian Conference Center in Tianjin, China, is scheduled to be addressed by Prime Minister Oli and the heads of state and government of the participating countries.

Prime Minister Oli is on a five-day visit to China from Bhadra 14 to participate in the summit at the friendly invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Bilateral meetings between Prime Minister Oli and heads of state and government of various countries are also ongoing.

Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Oli attended the reception organized by Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan for the participating countries of the SCO Plus Summit. High-ranking officials including Prime Minister Oli and First Lady Radhika Shakya also attended the dinner.

An informal meeting was also held with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the occasion. His counterpart Modi posted a photo of the meeting on his social media account, X, and mentioned that he was happy to meet Nepali Prime Minister Oli.
