Kathmandu – Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel was visited by the newly appointed Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dr. Bishwo Paudel.
This morning, the newly appointed Governor Paudel visited the Ministry of Finance to meet Finance Minister Paudel. On the occasion, Finance Minister Paudel extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a successful tenure.
Finance Minister Paudel expressed confidence that, through coordination between fiscal and monetary policies, the newly appointed Governor Paudel would take significant initiatives to address the problems seen in the economy and the monetary sector.
Governor Paudel stated that the Ministry of Finance leads the country’s economy, and Nepal Rastra Bank will support the implementation of fiscal policy through monetary measures. He emphasized enhancing the supervisory capacity of the central bank to ensure the effectiveness of the financial sector.
On the occasion, Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies Damodar Bhandari, Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyaya, Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, among others, extended congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed Governor Paudel.
