Kathmandu : The government has honoured seven institutions from seven provinces as the best for practicing occupational safety and health.
At a program organized at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security here today, Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Sharat Singh Bhandari distributed certificates of appreciation to Buttabari Tea Pvt. Ltd. of Koshi Province, Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd. of Madhes, Barun Beverage (Nepal) Pvt. Ltd. of Bagmati, Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd. of Gandaki, Bijay Distillery Pvt. Ltd. of Lumbini, Mahakali Sugar E Pvt. Ltd. of Sudurpaschim, and Shuva Hotel Pvt. Ltd. of Karnali.
On the occasion, Minister Bhandari said that proper management of occupational safety and health will increase the productivity of workers, while calling on all enterprises to make their workplaces healthy, safe, organized and dignified.(RSS)
