Kathmandu. 27 countries, including the UK, have called for an immediate end to the ongoing war in Gaza. They have condemned the atrocities on civilians in Gaza as excessive.
The joint statement released condemns Israel for withholding aid and killing civilians there.
According to the Hamas-controlled Health Ministry, 109 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in the past week, and another 19 have died due to malnutrition.
The ministry has accused the military group of spreading lies, refusing to cease fire, and being active in killing civilians. Israel’s policies and plans in the last 21 months of the war have also been criticized.
The UK and 27 other countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, New Zealand and Switzerland, have signed the statement. They have issued a statement saying that 800 Palestinians have been killed while they are facing a shortage of water and food and waiting for relief. (Agency)
