Kathmandu. Today, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some places in the hilly regions of the country including Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces and a few places in the rest of the country.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, monsoon winds are currently affecting the country. The low pressure line of the monsoon is located around the average location in the east and slightly north of the average location in the west.

It is partly to generally cloudy throughout the country. According to the division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snowfall in a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
