Kathmandu. The Hydrology and Meteorology Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon winds are currently affecting the country and the monsoon low pressure line is near the mean position.

It will be generally cloudy across the country on Friday afternoon. According to the division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in many places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and some places in other provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in some places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

Similarly, it will be partly to generally cloudy across the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in other provinces.
