Kathmandu – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the public holds strong trust in the Public Service Commission (PSC) regarding its commitment to maintaining impartiality.

Speaking at a special ceremony organized on the occasion of the Commission’s Platinum Jubilee, Prime Minister Oli praised the PSC for its significant contribution in ensuring merit, impartiality, and transparency in the recruitment of personnel in civil services and other organized sectors, including security agencies.

“I am pleased to learn that the Commission has been improving its examination system to make it more technology-friendly and in line with the changing times, ensuring the selection of capable human resources as per the expectations of the people of Nepal,” said PM Oli. “The Commission should be further strengthened with resources and technology, and the concerned agencies must seriously consider implementing the suggestions outlined in its annual reports. The government will remain ready to facilitate whatever is necessary from its side.”

During the ceremony, which was graced by President Ramchandra Paudel as the chief guest, Prime Minister Oli also expressed his confidence that the Commission would continue to inspire public service by upholding transparency and impartiality, and by building trust among the younger generation.
