Kathmandu. Today, Sunday, Bhadra Shukla Purnima day (September 7-8) is going to be a Khagras lunar eclipse. According to Prof. Shree Krishna Adhikari, Chairman of Nepal Panchanga Nirikhaya Bikash Samiti, the eclipse will be observed at 10:11 pm, Sammilan at 11:15 pm, Madhya at 11:56 pm, Unmilan at 12:38 pm and Moksha at 1:41 pm. The total duration of this eclipse, which will be Khagras for 1 hour and 23 minutes, will be 3 hours and 30 minutes. This eclipse can be observed from Nepal, India and many countries in Asia from beginning to end.
According to astrology, the eclipse will have different effects on different zodiac signs. Aries will get benefits, Taurus will get happiness, Gemini will get happiness, Cancer will get pain, Leo will get pain, Virgo will get happiness, Libra will get anxiety, Scorpio will get pain, Sagittarius will get success, Capricorn will get loss, Aquarius will get loss and Pisces will get loss. On this basis, Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces should not watch it. People of other zodiac signs can watch it. This eclipse will be very difficult for people born in Shatabhisha and Purvabhadrapada constellations and Aquarius.

According to religious beliefs, Sutak is observed a few hours before the eclipse. Food has been prohibited for others except children, the elderly and the sick from 1:11 pm today. During lunar eclipse, activities such as havan, mantra japa, donation are considered auspicious, while sleeping, eating, intercourse, applying oil, tying or killing someone is prohibited in the classical texts.
