Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the prices of petroleum products. The meeting of the corporation’s board of directors has taken effect from Sunday night. Diesel-kerosene has been reduced by four rupees per liter, EY fuel (domestic) by one rupee and aviation fuel by seven US dollars per kiloliter for international use.

The selling prices of petrol and LP gas have been kept unchanged. According to the new selling prices, the retail selling prices of diesel-kerosene have been fixed at 142 rupees 50 paisa, 144 rupees and 145 rupees per liter respectively.

Similarly, the price of aviation fuel for domestic use has been fixed at 127 rupees per liter. Aviation fuel for international use has been fixed at 966 US dollars per kiloliter for Kathmandu, the corporation has stated.

The corporation has clarified that the price adjustment in the Nepali market has been made due to the reduction in prices from Indian Oil Corporation. (RSS)
