Kathmandu. The monsoon is somewhat weak in Nepal as the low pressure line of the monsoon is located south of the average location. However, the water vapor-rich air is still entering from the Bay of Bengal, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division.

According to the division, it will be generally cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some places in the hills and Terai of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in the Terai of Madhes province. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the hilly parts of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

Similarly, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and other provinces tonight, while it will be partially cloudy in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some places in the hilly and Terai areas of Koshi province and other provinces and one or two places in the Terai.

The division has stated that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi Province.
