Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has stated that the monsoon low pressure line is located south of the average location. Due to which the monsoon is somewhat weak in Nepal. The division has mentioned that the water vapor-rich air is entering from the Bay of Bengal.

According to the division, it is generally cloudy across the country at present. Moderate rainfall is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. In addition, light rainfall is occurring in one or two places in the hilly areas of Karnali province.

It will be generally cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in a few places in the terai and hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as in the remaining hilly areas of the country and in one or two places in the remaining terai areas. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi province and Bagmati province, including the terai of Lumbini province.
