Kathmandu. The monsoon low-pressure line has approached Nepal’s Terai north of the average location.

According to the Forecast Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, it will be generally cloudy across the country on Tuesday afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rain in many places in the hilly areas of the country and some places in the Terai parts of other provinces including Madhes Province. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly parts of Koshi Province.

The division has stated that it will be completely cloudy across the country on Tuesday night. There is a possibility of moderate rain in many places in the hilly and Terai parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces including Madhes and some places in the hilly and Terai parts of other provinces.

The division has stated that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in some places in the hilly and Terai parts of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, including Madhes Province, and heavy rainfall in one or two places in the hilly and Terai parts of Gandaki Province, as well as in the Terai parts of Lumbini Province.
