Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon winds are currently affecting the country. The low pressure line of the monsoon is located north of the mean sea level, in the Terai of Nepal.

Due to which, it is currently mostly cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places in Koshi and Karnali provinces and in most places in the rest of the country.

It will be mostly cloudy across the country in the afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rain in some places in Koshi and Madhes provinces as well as in many places in the rest of the country. There is also a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in a few places in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and in one or two places in Bagmati and Sudurpaschim provinces.

It will be mostly cloudy across the country tonight. There is a possibility of moderate rain in many places in Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and in a few places in the rest of the country. There is also a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in a few places in Lumbini province and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Division has requested people to take necessary precautions as there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in one or two places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
