Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon winds are currently affecting the country. The low pressure line of the monsoon is located slightly north of the mean position.

Due to which it is generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places in Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

It will be generally cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rain with lightning in many places in all provinces. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the Terai region of Koshi province, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim province.

There is a possibility of moderate rain with lightning in many places in the remaining Terai region including Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces and in some places in the hilly region. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the Terai region of Koshi, Madhes, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The division has requested to adopt necessary precautions as there is a possibility of heavy rain in the Terai region of Koshi, Madhes, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
