Biratnagar. The Koshi Provincial Government has decided to amend the name of the province to ‘Koshi Provincial Government Biratnagar, Nepal’. The decision to amend the name of the province was taken in a cabinet meeting held on Friday evening.

The provincial government’s cabinet meeting decided to change the name from the previous ‘Koshi Provincial Government Biratnagar, Nepal’ to the ‘Koshi Provincial Government Biratnagar, Nepal’ and to change the ‘letterhead’ and ‘signboard’ of all provincial government offices accordingly, informed government spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Rewatiraman Bhandari.

Similarly, it has been decided to submit a bill to the provincial assembly to organize the statistics office of the Koshi Provincial Government. It has been decided to approve the Provincial Health Policy-2082.

Minister Bhandari said that it has been decided to approve the temporary posts of employees in various ministries, departments, agencies and offices of the Koshi Provincial Government for the current fiscal year 2082/83.

It has been decided to submit the Bill-2082, which was made to make provisions regarding the language of government work in Koshi Province, as a bill in the Provincial Assembly. It has been decided to send the bills related to the operation of educational counseling and language teaching classes in Koshi Province to the Law, Justice and Provincial Affairs Committee. (RSS)
