Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon winds are currently affecting the country. In addition, the low pressure line of the monsoon is located around the mean position.

According to the division, it is currently generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Bagmati Province and partially cloudy in the rest of the Terai region. Moderate rainfall is occurring in a few places in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and in one or two places in the hilly areas of the rest of the provinces including Madhes Province.

This afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces and partially cloudy in the Terai region.

There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with lightning in some places in the hilly areas of the country including Sudurpaschim Province and in a few places in the Terai area of Lumbini Province and in one or two places in the rest of the Terai region including Madhes Province. Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, tonight, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Koshi, Madhes and Sudurpaschim provinces and partially cloudy in the Terai regions. There is a possibility of moderate rain with lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of the country including Madhes and Sudurpaschim provinces and in one or two places in the Terai region.
