He did so as a mark of protest, stating that the budget was not people-oriented and failed to meet public expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MP Thapa criticized the budget, particularly the allocation to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, saying the entire budget had taken a wrong direction. &#8220;The ministry&#8217;s budget failed to address the needs of the people in Dailekh, as well as many other parts of the country,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The revenue collected from the people should be returned to them through development and services, but this budget does not reflect that.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expressing his disagreement, Thapa said during the session, &#8220;I did not like this booklet, so I tore it up\u2014with permission.
