Kathmandu:<\/strong> The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to make maximum efforts to resolve the ongoing parliamentary stalemate. Agni Sapkota, the party spokesperson, announced that a party official meeting held on Thursday morning decided to approach the issue constructively and creatively to break the deadlock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Maoist Centre, along with other opposition parties, has been obstructing parliament, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak<\/strong> over his alleged involvement in the visit visa scam. This obstruction has prevented discussions on the budget from commencing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n According to spokesperson Sapkota, the Maoist Centre’s primary demand is a fair investigation into the visit visa scandal. He stated that the party’s next steps will depend on the environment the government creates for such a probe. Discussions will be held with both the government and other opposition parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “The main thing is an investigation; our focus isn’t so much on a particular individual,” Sapkota said. “Discussions are ongoing. Yesterday’s (parliamentary session) was adjourned with the aim of reaching a positive conclusion.
