{"id":174,"date":"2025-05-21T11:31:26","date_gmt":"2025-05-21T11:31:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.margadarsannews.com\/?p=174"},"modified":"2025-05-21T11:31:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T11:31:27","slug":"bagmati-province-level-karate-tournament-to-be-held-in-bhaktapur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.margadarsannews.com\/?p=174","title":{"rendered":"Bagmati Province-Level Karate Tournament to Be Held in Bhaktapur"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><strong>By Sanjib Dulal<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bhaktapur<\/strong> \u2013 A Bagmati Province-wide karate tournament is set to be held in Bhaktapur, organized by the Suryabinayak Municipal Sitoryo Karate Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a press conference, the organizers announced that the tournament, aimed at promoting karate and producing new athletes, will take place on <strong>Jestha 9 and 10<\/strong> (May 22\u201323) with sponsorship from <strong>Suryabinayak Municipality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>Ramsharan Twati<\/strong>, Senior Vice President of the Bhaktapur District Sitoryo Karate Association and coordinator of the event, participants from various dojos and districts of the province will take part in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tournament will be held at <strong>Seratan Banquet<\/strong> located in Ward No. 9 of Suryabinayak Municipality. Over <strong>500 athletes<\/strong> are expected to participate, including both <strong>male and female competitors<\/strong>, categorized by weight classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The men&#8217;s weight categories will range from <strong>35 kg to 67+ kg<\/strong>, and the women\u2019s from <strong>35 kg to 61 kg<\/strong>.
