Nawalparasi East. One person died and another was injured when a truck hit a motorcycle on the Narayani River bridge in Nawalparasi East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The accident occurred on Sunday evening when a truck carrying chicken chicks from Avinash Hatchery, heading towards Narayanghat, hit a motorcycle with the number Na 1 Ka 5199, which was heading towards the same direction from Gaindakot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the police, the motorcycle driver, Munal Dahal, 23, of Gaindakot-4, died in the truck collision, the police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dahal, who was seriously injured in the accident, was declared dead by the doctors when he was taken to Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The accident occurred when the truck was overtaking the motorcycle, said Madhu Nepal, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prateek Ghimire of Gaindakot-4, who was riding behind the motorcycle, was injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
