Kathmandu. The meeting of the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives, is meeting today at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. The agenda for today’s meeting is to pass the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The possible agenda set by the Federal Parliament Secretariat states that Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has set the agenda for submitting a proposal to discuss and pass the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, the concerned ministers will answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Ministry of Forest and Environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the meeting, Kusumdevi Thapa, Chair of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, will present the ‘Report of the Committee on the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Relating to Land, 2082’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari will present a proposal to consider the \u2018Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2082\u2019. Similarly, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung will present a proposal to send the \u2018Information Technology and Cyber \u200b\u200bSecurity Bill, 2082 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.\u2019 The agenda includes the presentation of a proposal to send the \u2018National Sports Development (First Amendment) Bill, 2082 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Assembly meeting is scheduled to convene at 12:15. In today\u2019s meeting, the concerned ministers will answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey will present a proposal to consider the \u2018Intangible Cultural Heritage (Preservation) Bill, 2081\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will present the proposal to discuss the \u2018Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081\u2019, which was received from the House of Representatives along with the report of the Legislative Management Committee.
