Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon winds are currently affecting the entire country. In addition, the monsoon low pressure line is located near the mean position.

According to the division, it is currently generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, while it is partially cloudy in the rest of the provinces. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

It will remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in some places in the hilly regions of the country including Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki and in a few places in the rest of the country. Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, it will remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in a few places in all provinces.
