Kathmandu. The secretariat meeting of the CPN-UML is being held today (Thursday). The meeting will be held at the party’s central office, Chyasal, at 1 pm.

According to UML Publicity and Publication Department Chief Rajendra Gautam, the meeting will have extensive discussions and decisions on various issues related to the preparation for the statutory general convention.

Deputy Prime Minister and party Vice President Bishnu Prasad Poudel will present drafts of the proposal for amending the statute in the meeting. Poudel is the coordinator of the Statute Amendment Committee.

Similarly, Gautam informed that the political report to be presented by Chairman KP Sharma Oli and the organizational report to be presented by General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will also be discussed.

The secretariat meeting will also set the agenda of the party Politburo meeting on July 2 and the Central Committee meeting on July 5.

Similarly, Gautam said that the one-year tenure of the government will be reviewed in the meeting.
