Kathmandu. Today, both houses of the federal parliament, the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, are meeting.
The meeting of the House of Representatives will be held at 1:00 pm at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. The agenda of the meeting includes the presentation of a proposal by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel to consider the ‘Alternative Finance Mobilization Bill, 2081’.
Similarly, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal is scheduled to present a proposal to consider the ‘Ships (Operation and Management) Bill, 2081′, while the agenda of the Accounts Committee Chairman Hrishikesh Pokharel is scheduled to present the ’23rd Annual Report of the Public Accounts Committee, 2082’. The meeting has also scheduled a program for Speaker Devraj Ghimire to read out the details of the letter regarding the certification of the bill received from the President’s Office.
Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly will be held at 1:15 pm today. The agenda of the meeting includes a proposal by Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta to consider the ‘Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080’, which was received with a message from the House of Representatives.
Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka is also likely to submit a proposal to send the ‘Water Resources Bill, 2081’ to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-wise discussion, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
