Kathmandu: The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has set the maximum wholesale prices for vegetables, fruits, spices, and other agricultural products for today (Thursday). According to the committee, the prices of key items traded at Kalimati, the main vegetable and fruit supply center in the Kathmandu Valley, have been made public.
As per the wholesale prices, Nepali large cauliflower will be sold at NPR 40 per kilogram, Indian large cauliflower at NPR 60, small local cauliflower at NPR 25, and small cauliflower from the Terai at NPR 45. Red potatoes will be sold at NPR 32, Indian red potatoes at NPR 38, Indian dried onions at NPR 38, local carrots at NPR 40, and Terai carrots at NPR 25 per kilogram.
