Kathmandu. The National Assembly meeting under the federal parliament is being held today at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. The meeting to be held at 1:15 pm on Friday will have a clause-wise discussion on the ‘Economic Bill, 2082’ and the National Debt Collection Bill, 2082’, which Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel received with a message from the House of Representatives.
The possible agenda for passing these bills and sending them back to the House of Representatives has been set, informed Padma Prasad Pandey, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
Similarly, meetings of five parliamentary committees are being held today. The agenda for the Finance Committee meeting is to discuss with the amendment proposers who will register an amendment proposal to the bill to amend the ‘Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 2073’.
Similarly, the International Relations and Tourism Committee meeting has been scheduled to discuss the ‘Nepal Civil Aviation Authority Bill, 2081’.
The meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee has set an agenda to discuss with the Nepal Bar Council regarding the ‘Nepal Bar Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081’. The meeting of the Women and Social Affairs Committee will discuss the work of the committee.
The meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee has set an agenda to discuss the ‘Electricity Bill, 2080’, ‘Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Bill, 2081’ and the Sunkoshi Marine Diversion Project. (RSS)
