Kathmandu. The National Assembly meeting is being held at 3:15 PM today at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor. In today’s meeting, the Speaker will brief the House on the letter received from the President’s Office regarding the assignment of the members of the Council of Ministers.

Similarly, the Chairperson of the Legislative Management Committee, Tulsa Kumari Dahal, will present the ‘Report of the Legislative Management Committee on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080’ to the House. Secretary of the National Assembly, Dr. Surendra Aryal, will table the message received from the House of Representatives regarding the ‘Bill to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Relating to Land, 2082’.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will present the proposal to the House to consider the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2081’, which was received with the message from the House of Representatives.

The agenda is for two parliamentary committees to meet today. The meeting of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee and the Legislative Management Committee is scheduled to be held as per the scheduled agenda.

The meeting of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee has an agenda to discuss issues related to the theoretical aspects with stakeholders regarding the ‘Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2082’. The meeting of the Legislative Management Committee is scheduled to discuss the ‘Draft Report of the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080’. It is stated that the meeting will be held at 11:30 am. (RSS)
