Kavrepalanchok. A girl was swept away by the Debar River in Panauti Municipality-1. A young man has gone missing in the Sunkoshi River.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwor Twanti, the body of an 11-year-old girl swept away by the river was found at 5 pm on Thursday. The body of the deceased girl has been kept at the Shir Memorial Hospital in Banepa for an autopsy. Her identity has not been revealed.
A young man has been missing in the Bhotekoshi River at Dolalghat in Kavrepalanchok since Thursday afternoon. Mahesh Darji, 23, of Bhumlu Rural Municipality-1, Ritthe, was swept away by the Bhotekoshi.
It is said that the tailor was swept away by the river while trying to save his dog that had fallen into the river. According to the police, a team of Armed Police Force and District Police is searching for the tailor, who lives near the Dulaleshwor Temple in Bhumlu-8. (RSS)
