Kathmandu. Nepal will face Pakistan on Friday in the ongoing Top End T-20 series in Australia’s Northern Territory.

In the last or sixth match of the group stage under the series, Nepal is going to compete with Pakistan Shaheens. This match will start at 3:15 pm Nepali time on Friday.

Nepal has already played five matches in the series. Out of which, it has won two matches and lost three matches. Nepal lost to Northern Territory Strike by 42 runs in the first match, Bangladesh ‘A’ in the second match and Melbourne Stars by 32 runs in the third match.

Nepal has won brilliantly in the fourth and fifth matches. Nepal defeated Hobart Hurricanes Academy by 66 runs in the fourth match on Tuesday and defeated Melbourne Renegades Academy by 33 runs in the fifth match.

Nepal, who are ranked seventh in the points table among the 11 teams participating in the series, are under pressure to win today’s match to enter the semifinals. If Nepal, who are ranked seventh in the table with four points, defeat Pakistan, they will have a mathematical chance of entering the semifinals. If Pakistan, who are ranked second in the table with six points, wins, Nepal will be eliminated from the group stage.

The top four teams in the group will compete in the semifinals.
