Kathmandu. The meeting of the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives, is meeting today at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. The agenda for today’s meeting is to pass the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082’.
The possible agenda set by the Federal Parliament Secretariat states that Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has set the agenda for submitting a proposal to discuss and pass the bill.
Similarly, the concerned ministers will answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Ministry of Forest and Environment.
In the meeting, Kusumdevi Thapa, Chair of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, will present the ‘Report of the Committee on the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Relating to Land, 2082’.
Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari will present a proposal to consider the ‘Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2082’. Similarly, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung will present a proposal to send the ‘Information Technology and Cyber Security Bill, 2082 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.’ The agenda includes the presentation of a proposal to send the ‘National Sports Development (First Amendment) Bill, 2082 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.’
The National Assembly meeting is scheduled to convene at 12:15. In today’s meeting, the concerned ministers will answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Similarly, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey will present a proposal to consider the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage (Preservation) Bill, 2081’.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will present the proposal to discuss the ‘Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081’, which was received from the House of Representatives along with the report of the Legislative Management Committee. A possible agenda for discussing and passing the proposal has been set.
