Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, has stated that the monsoon low pressure line is currently located south of the mean position. Due to which the monsoon condition in Nepal is weak.

According to the division, it is currently generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country. Light rainfall is occurring in one or two places in all provinces and moderate rainfall is occurring in one or two places in Koshi Province and Lumbini Province.

This afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Sudurpaschim Province and partially cloudy in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in a few places in the hilly areas of Lumbini Province and the hilly and terai areas of the rest of the provinces and in one or two places in the terai areas.

Tonight, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi and Sudurpaschim Province and partially cloudy in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall at a few places in the hilly and lowland areas of the rest of the province, including the hilly and lowland areas of Koshi Province and Sudurpaschim Province, and at one or two places in the lowland areas.
