Kathmandu. Today, both houses of the Federal Parliament are meeting. The meeting of the House of Representatives is meeting at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor at 1 pm today.

In today’s meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is likely to present the ‘Annual Report of the National Dalit Commission for the fiscal year 2080/81’.

Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant will present a proposal that ‘the Tilganga Netra University Bill, 2081, which originated in the National Assembly, be sent to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.’

Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly is meeting at 1:15 pm. In today’s meeting, the agenda is for Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey to present the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage (Preservation) Bill, 2081’ to the Assembly.

There is a program to present a condolence motion in both houses, paying tribute to the demise of Constituent Assembly member and former Minister of State Khadga Bahadur Basyal.
