Kathmandu. Four different parliamentary committees under the Federal Parliament are meeting. The Agriculture, Government and Natural Resources Committee, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, the Legislative Management Committee and the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee are meeting on Friday as per the scheduled time.

The Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee meeting has an agenda to discuss the ‘Bill to amend some Nepal Acts relating to land, 2082’ with the concerned ministries at the Union and provinces, the Nepal Municipal Association, the National Federation of Rural Municipalities Nepal, and experts in the field of land, forest and law. The committee meeting will be held at 12:30 in the committee’s own office.

The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee meeting has an agenda to discuss the ‘Media Council Bill, 2080’ clause-wise. The meeting is being held at 2:30 in the committee’s office itself.

Similarly, the Legislative Management Committee meeting is being held at 1:00 in the committee’s meeting room. The committee meeting has an agenda to discuss the ‘Water Resources Bill, 2081’ clause-wise.

The meeting of the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee will discuss the ‘implementation progress status of projects of national pride under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, problems, efforts to resolve the problems and expectations from the committee’.

The meeting will be held at 11:00 am in the committee’s office.
