Kathmandu. Meetings of five different parliamentary committees of the Federal Parliament are being held today.
The meeting of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee under the House of Representatives is being held at 11:30 am. The agenda of the meeting is to discuss the Bill to amend some land-related laws in Nepal, 2082. Where discussions will be held with Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Balram Adhikari, officials of the Land Commission, and experts in the fields of land, forests and law.
Similarly, the meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee and the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee is being held at 1 pm. The agenda of the Human Rights Committee is to discuss the draft of suggestions related to the Sixth National Action Plan on Human Rights and the Nepal Bar Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081.
Similarly, the meeting of the Statute Management Committee, Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee and the Federal Strengthening and National Concerns Committee under the National Assembly is being held. The meeting of the Good Governance Committee to be held at 11:30 am is discussing the work done by the ministry to resolve the drinking water problem seen in various areas across the country, including Madhes Province.
