Kathmandu. The Federal Parliament National Assembly meeting is scheduled to be held today (Wednesday) at 1:15 pm at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor.

The agenda of the meeting includes a proposal by Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung to send the ‘Cinema Bill, 2081’ to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-wise discussion.

Similarly, Kamala Pant, Chairperson of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, is scheduled to propose a discussion on the ‘Study Report on Nepal’s Upgrading from Least Developed Country to Developing Country, 2081’.

Letters received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding the assignment of work assignments to the members of the Council of Ministers have also been included in the agenda to be informed in the meeting.

Similarly, a meeting of the Legislative Management Committee will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday. The meeting has an agenda to discuss the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081’ clause-wise.
