Kathmandu. The Federal Parliament National Assembly meeting is being held today at 1:15 pm at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. The agenda of today’s meeting states that a decision will be made on the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081’ for a clause-wise discussion.

Similarly, five parliamentary committees are meeting today. Today, the Finance Committee, Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, Public Accounts Committee and the State Directive Principles, Policies and Responsibilities Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (Joint) are meeting.

The Finance Committee meeting will discuss issues related to the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission. The recommendations and suggestions given by the commission for the current fiscal year’s budget and whether or not those suggestions and recommendations have been included in the budget and the problems and challenges faced by the commission, as well as the complaints received by the committee related to the commission, will be discussed in the committee.

Similarly, the Agriculture Cooperative Committee has an agenda to discuss with the amenders regarding the amendments made in the ‘Bill to amend some Nepal Acts relating to land, 2082’. The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee has a program to interact with experts regarding the ‘Media Council Bill, 2080’. The Accounts Committee meeting will discuss the ‘61st and 62nd Annual Reports of the Auditor General’.

The State Directive Principles, Policies and Responsibilities Implementation Approval and Evaluation Committee (Joint) will discuss the current schedule of the construction of the Federal Parliament Building under construction at Singha Durbar and the preparations of the ministry to ensure the implementation of that schedule.
