Kathmandu: Lalitpur City Football Club has won the title of the third edition of the Nepal Super League (NSL) for the second consecutive time. In the final held at Dasharath Stadium on Saturday, Lalitpur defeated Pokhara Thunders 2–1 to become the champion.
Lalitpur, who remained unbeaten since the league stage, took the lead in the first half through a goal by Imoh Ezekiel. Although Pokhara’s Sudil Rai equalized in the second half, Papa Ibou Kebe scored in the 74th minute to restore Lalitpur’s lead and secure the title.
