Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that the effect of monsoon winds is currently weak across the country. The low pressure line of the monsoon is located south of the mean position.

Due to which, it is currently generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki, including the rest of the provinces, and partially cloudy in the rest of the provinces. Light rain is occurring in a few places in Bagmati Province.

This afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partially cloudy in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in some places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and in a few places in the rest of the country. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in some places of Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces and a few places in the rest of the provinces tonight. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi and Madhes provinces.

The Division has requested to adopt caution as there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
